GARDEN OF THE CROSS
First platted area of the conventional memorial park, has
flush markers to minimize labor and maintenance. No trees are allowed within
the Garden of the Cross (trees may be planted surrounding the Garden of the
Cross) to maintain the continued appearance of a mountain meadow.
GARDEN OF THE CROSS UPRIGHT
Within this Garden, existing natural rocks protruding from
the earth have been used to identify graves and cremorial spaces. Interest and
client demand have duplicated these original rocks with rocks from our local
ranches, parks, and remote locations, personalized with engravings and bronze
tablets.
GARDEN OF THE CROSS UPRIGHT NORTH
A special section has been designated for North/South
burials for those who do not wish to use the East/West burial which is
traditional here in our western culture.
GARDEN OF THE PIONEERS
A pioneer cabin of the native Berrian family was restored
to the Park in 1970 and now provides a central theme and a location for cremains
in urns and bronze niches. The West is celebrated by a verse inscribed in the
cabin door.
Trees are allowed to be placed in this area with adequate
spacing on purchased lots as are movable benches.
Graves are marked with flush markers, but a variety of
grave spaces are available: single graves, double depth and cremorial lots.
GARDEN OF THE PINES
This section of the cemetery is composed of Pre-Need lots
purchased prior to need (without imminent illness) at a discount and is still a
part of the Parks pasture system for wild game. Although burial is possible,
the area is not maintained and cannot be visited. A lot purchased there is
transferable to a maintained lot which may be visited, in the Garden of the
Cross without additional fees if desired by owners at the time of need and may
be upgraded to other more expensive areas if so desired by paying the difference
in fees of Garden of the Cross to upgraded area.
GREEN GARDEN
A treed location for green burials where remains can be
returned to the earth, with or without embalming, with or without a casket, with
or without outer burial containers that allow direct soil contact but still
protect the grave. A location where the choices of the loved one can be
faithfully fulfilled.
