Anne Marie (Roehl) Gaffney born April 24, 1955 (68) in Minneapolis, MN. to John Roehl and Delia Pouliot passing peacefully October, 24 at home.

Anne was a free-spirited woman with a strong sense of adventure. She was one of ten children, proving tenacious and self-reliant. Anne graduated from Orono High School in Orono, MN. 1973 continuing on to The College of St. Scholastica where she graduated in 1977 with a degree in medical technology.

In 1980, Anne packed her blue ‘67 Oldsmobile with a pair of skis, a suitcase and moved West to Colorado working as a lab tech at Porter Hospital. She met her husband Brian and was married in Grand Lake, CO. 1986. In 1988 they welcomed their son, Dylan and daughter, Caitlin in 1990.

Anne loved the outdoors, hiking, cross country skiing, blue bird days after a snow, climbing mountains and siting near streams and rivers. She was adored by many for her strong sense of self, opinions, love and openness.  She was an active member in the community. She loved Catan, Monopoly, scrabble, rolling dice, bunco, Yahtzee, cards and being a grandma.

After retiring in April of 2023, Anne received her diagnosis May 22, 2023, of stage four pancreatic cancer which took her life just months later.
