Barbara F. Loving of Aspen Park passed away in mid-May at 90 years old. She is survived by her 3 children, Bill, Jeff and Clay. She cherished her 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She went through life as a very determined and forceful woman. Her favorite saying was “Watch out world here I come!” She was born in Michigan in 1935 to Olive and Emil (Fred) Frederick along with her sister, Betty. Her childhood and early life were spent between Monroe Michigan and Delray Beach Florida. She moved to Colorado and raised her family first in Littleton and then in Evergreen. Her active life was one filled with creativity including cooking, gardening, painting, sewing, jeeping/camping, water & snow skiing, duplicate bridge, golf and many others. In her later years, she was very proud of supporting her local Conifer community through the Conifer Newcomers and Neighbors Group and played competitive duplicate bridge up until her last days. Her working life included interior design and hotel guest relations at such prestigious hotels as the Stanley in Estes Park CO and the Otesaga in Cooperstown NY.
She lived a rich full life and was at peace with everything when she passed in her home, The Aspens, and will be laid to rest with her relatives in Florida after a celebration of life with family and friends here in Colorado. She will be missed!
