Clarence L. Collins, age 84, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 13, 2025. A gifted furniture repairman and a man of many passions, Clarence lived a life full of adventure, creativity, and deep devotion to his family.

Born on June 27, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa, Clarence was the son of Marjorie Graves. He married Sharon (Riley), and together they raised a joyful and loving family. Later in life, Clarence began a new chapter with Jennifer Morrill, his devoted companion and fellow explorer, sharing countless adventures and memories.

Clarence’s talents extended far beyond his craft. He had a lifelong fascination with trains and a deep love for travel, often driving through the majestic mountains of Colorado and discovering hidden corners of the country. Off-roading with family, capturing moments through photography, and expressing himself through painting were among his favorite pastimes.

He was preceded in death by his mother, his cherished aunts and uncles Philip and Eva Fyfe and Clarence and Phyllis Fyfe, and two beloved grandsons.

Clarence is survived by his children and stepchildren and their spouses: Amber Priest (Brad), TJ Lato (Dave), Dawn Schiers (Dave), Joe Collins (Laura), Amy Fredericksen (Todd), and Stacy Trujillo. He is survived by his brothers, Ron and Don Graves, and his favorite cousin Larry Fyfe. He leaves behind nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward his legacy of curiosity, kindness, and love.

Clarence’s life was a testament to the beauty of craftsmanship, the thrill of exploration, and the strength of family bonds. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
