Dale Ronald Morris

May 30, 1932 — Jul 14, 2026

Golden, Colorado

Dale R. Morris entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the evening of July 14, 2026.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, warm sense of humor, and his lifelong commitment to encouraging and mentoring others in the knowledge of Jesus Christ through Bible studies, Christian ministries, and countless fellowship hikes in the Rocky Mountains.  Dale invested deeply in the lives of many men, leaving a legacy of faith that continues today.

Dale was born on May 30, 1932, in Columbiana, Ohio, to Arthur and Doris Morris. He is survived by his siblings, Kay Johnson and Terry Morris, both of Salem, Ohio.

He attended the University of Miami, where he served as president of his sophomore class. He later married the love of his life, Jacqueline June (Paulin) Morris, in Boardman, Ohio. Together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage until her passing.

Soon after their marriage, Dale served his country as a paratrooper and Sergeant in the United States Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After completing his military service, he and Jacque began raising their family.

Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jacqueline, and by his eldest son, Dale Randall Morris.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Olson; his grandchildren, Rachael June Morris Olson and Samuel Morris Olson and his wife, Jordie Olson: and his cherished great-granddaughters, Brooklyn and Brenlee Olson. He is also survived by his son, John Stuart Morris, and his wife, Jodie R. Morris.

Dale began his professional career with IBM's Typewriter Division as a salesman in the Youngstown, Ohio, area. In 1968, his work brought the family to Evergreen, Colorado, where he eventually founded Coffee International, Inc., an office coffee service company. After building a successful business, he sold the company and retired in 1986.

Retirement marked the beginning of one of the most meaningful seasons of his life. With more time to devote to ministry, Dale faithfully walked alongside countless people, encouraging them in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Those whose lives he touched were a tremendous blessing to him as well.

Above all else, Dale was a believer in Jesus Christ. We rejoice knowing that he has been welcomed into the presence of his Savior and reunited with many brothers and sisters in Christ who have gone before him.

Though we grieve his absence, we do not grieve without hope. We look forward to the day when we, too, will be together again in the presence of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

Until then... see you later, Dale.

"And the glory which thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me. Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me: for Thou lovedst Me before the foundation of the world."

John 17:22–24 (KJV)
