Darcie Lee Sargent

Darcie Lee Sargent of Conifer passed away suddenly on April 9, 2026 at the age of 45 from an undiagnosed medical condition. The loss was completely unexpected leaving her family and friends shocked and deeply saddened.

Darcie was born on September 26, 1980 in Vandenberg AFB, California. Darcie graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2003 with undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Elementary Education. Darcie became a 1st grade schoolteacher in Monument, CO after graduation. During her tenure as a teacher, she received a Master’s Degree in Accounting. She then pursued a career in Accounting in Denver, Colorado, where she met Keith Sargent. Darcie’s most recent position was as an Accounting Controller for a technology firm in the Denver area. Keith and Darcie were married on September 13, 2009 and are blessed with sons, Logan (15) and Cole (14).

Darcie was actively involved in her son’s school and sports activities. She loved reading, crafts & beach vacations, especially going to Walt Disney World. She loved planning Christmas & birthday parties for her family.

Darcie is survived by her husband, Keith; sons Logan & Cole; father William (Mona) Crist; mother Pamela Crist; brother Darren Crist. In-law parents Dale (JoAnn); and sister-in-law Renee (Louis) and several extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service is scheduled at Evergreen Memorial Park, 26624 N. Turkey Creek Rd, Evergreen, CO 80439 on Thursday April 30, 2026. 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with a repast immediately following.
