David Alexander Parks

David Alexander Parks, known as Alex, passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 43, in Morrison, CO. He was born on May 14, 1981, in Portsmouth, VA to David Paul Parks Jr. and Hayden Prinston Mallon. Alex attended Conifer High School graduating in 1999 before going to work with the Elk Creek Fire Protection District, first as a volunteer, then later as a Lieutenant Firefighter, EMT, and Director of Elk Creek Fire Academy.

Most recently he was an EMT with VitalCore Health Strategies, a contracting company with the Jefferson County Jail.

Always a jack of all trades, Alex was also super handy and took over the business of The Fixician, a professional service in home repairs and improvements.

Alex is survived by his father, David Paul Parks Jr. (Angela Palomo Parks) and mother, Hayden Prinston Mallon (Charles Mallon); his sisters, Alyson Benton (Robert Benton) and Nicole Parks (Bradley Carson); his brother Ryan Parks (Molly Parks); his former wife Margaret Parks and their three children, Piper (15), Finley (13), and Bennett (11).

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at 3PM at Evergreen Memorial Park (26624 N. Turkey Creek Rd. Evergreen, CO 80439).
