In Loving Memory of Geoffrey Arthur Brokx June 27, 1983 – May 25, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Geoff Brokx, who passed away peacefully at his home in Evergreen, Colorado, after a courageous battle with stage IV cancer. Geoff was born on June 27, 1983, in South Pasadena, California, where he was raised and graduated from high school before moving to Denver, Colorado, to pursue his education and build the life he dreamed of.

Geoff earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Regis University. Following graduation, he dedicated six years to helping children and adolescents at Tennyson Center for Children, where he found purpose in supporting youth through difficult circumstances. Inspired by his passion for health and wellness, Geoff returned to school and earned a master's-level certificate in Nutrition from the Nutrition Therapy Institute.

Geoff then began what would become a fulfilling career with Natural Grocers, where he spent more than 12 years serving in a variety of roles. His dedication, expertise, and passion for nutrition led him from working in the stores to becoming the Nutrition and Quality Standards Manager in the Nutrition Education Department. He believed deeply that good food and healthy living had the power to transform lives, and he shared that belief generously with customers, coworkers, friends, and family.

On his 31st birthday, Geoff met the love of his life, Nicole. Their chance meeting blossomed into a beautiful partnership, and they were married in Colorado in 2017. Together they purchased their first home and settled in Evergreen, where they built a life centered on family, love, and the outdoors. Geoff's greatest joy was being a husband to Nicole and a father to their two children, Arthur and Hadley. Every decision he made was rooted in creating a happy, healthy, and adventurous life for his family.

Geoff had a deep love for nature and living sustainably. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found peace in the mountains, on the water, and around a campfire. At home, he created a thriving micro-farm where he lovingly cared for llamas, chickens, and a custom-built greenhouse. He found fulfillment in growing food, tending animals, and sharing the lifestyle he believed in with those around him.

Above all, Geoff will be remembered for his kindness, integrity, curiosity, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the people he loved. He lived intentionally, always striving to leave the world a little healthier, a little kinder, and a little better than he found it.

Geoff is survived by his beloved wife, Nicole Brokx; his cherished children, Arthur and Hadley; his mother, Elisabeth Brokx; his sister, Michelle Anderson, her husband, Nick Anderson, and their children, Natalie and Connor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Art Brokx.

Although cancer took Geoff far too soon, it never diminished his strength, compassion, or love for life. His legacy lives on in the family he adored, the countless lives he touched through his

work, and the example he set by living with purpose, generosity, and heart. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of his life will be held on August 14, 2026 from 4:00-7:00pm at The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF), if desired.
