In Loving Memory of Kyle Romero

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kyle Romero, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Kyle left us far too soon, gone at the age of 36 after a traffic accident.

As we grieve our sudden loss of Kyle, we also feel a profound gratitude for the time we shared with him. We remember his vibrance, his kindness and curiosity, his love for his family, his affectionate nature, and his attentive presence. We remember his passionate ideas, his love of disc golf, video games, boxing, and football. He will be remembered as a dedicated and loving father, husband, brother, teammate, coach, loyal friend, and true companion.

Kyle was born in 1990 and is fondly remembered as a loving and playful child with a wonderful spirit. After graduating from Quest Academy in 2008, Kyle served in the U.S. Air Force from January 2011 to January 2017 where he and his family made cherished, lifelong friendships. Kyle earned a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University in psychology with a minor in philosophy in 2024.

Kyle was loved and is survived by his wife, Nicole; children, Emma (age 16) and David (age 13); mother, Jami Florida; father, Reuben Romero; siblings, Kayla Romero, Kristin Coffman (Brad), and Kevin Coffman (Tamera); aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 10 am, at the Evergreen Memorial Park, 26624 N. Turkey Creek Rd., Evergreen, CO 80439. A further celebration of his life will be held following the service at G’s Tacos-Westy at 9100 W. 100th Ave. #9, Broomfield, CO 80021.
