Lesley Chaney Steele

Lesley Chaney Steele, of Santa Cruz, California, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Thursday, April 4th, 2024. She was 77 years old.  Lesley was born on October 16,1946 in Victoria, Texas, to Travis Karl Watterson and Lucille Steele. Lesley served for several years in the Army and later worked as an office clerk for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. She was never married and had no children and was preceded in death by her father, mother, and her older brother. She is survived by her younger brother, John Brett Watterson. who is her sole living heir  Lesley will be interred at Evergreen Memorial Park, in Evergreen, Colorado.
