Patricia Ardene Hunt

Patricia Ardene Hunt, 86, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026.

Born in Bosie Idaho, Patricia made her home in Evergreen, Colorado, where she raised her family and built a life rooted in love, resilience, and the beauty of the outdoors. She was an avid hiker who found joy and peace in nature, often happiest on a trail surrounded by her dogs and the mountains she cherished.

Patricia took great pride in her genealogy and her family’s history. Her family can be traced back to the 1700s in Plymouth Massachusetts and she was a dedicated member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Evergreen for many years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Hunt, and a great grandchild, Cayleen Betz, along with many cherished animal companions who brought her years of joy: Doc, Harley, BB, Star, Frankie, Patoski, Sausy, Fritz, Cora Belle, Charlie Brown, Philo, Moonshine, BJ, and Little Bit.  She is lovingly survived by her children, Bryan, Bobbie (husband Matt), Brad (wife Lori) and David; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren , all of whom carry forward her strength and spirit.

A woman of deep independence and unwavering strength, Patricia was the bedrock upon which her family grew. She will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, Bronco pride, her famous lasagna, and the endless holiday cookies that brought warmth and togetherness to those she loved.

A memorial service will be held on May 4th at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
