Randi Anne Brattin

Randi Brattin passed away on August 3, 2025, following a long struggle with cancer and the adverse effects of a recent brain seizure. Randi grew up on the south shore of Long Island. Her family moved to California when she was a teen, residing in Torrance, near the beach. She attended UCLA where she earned her teaching certificate and met her husband, Bill. They were married in 1967 and had two sons, Jim and Jeff. The family moved to Chagrin Falls Ohio in 1970 where they lived for 25 years, and gained many very dear friends. Bill’s work then took them to Colorado, where they lived in the foothills outside of Denver for 33 years. She thrived in the mountain life style, hiking mountain trails in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter. She was active in a number of social groups, especially Conifer Newcomers and Neighbors, with frequent outings with her many friends. She especially cherished her two granddaughters, Eddy and Nanea, who live in Hawaii. Knowing her time was growing short, she was able to have one last visit with them before her final illness. She was a fine lady who will be missed by all of her family, especially her sister Donna and her brother Raymond, as well as all of her many dear friends in Ohio and Colorado.
