Randy Lee Wright

Randy Lee Wright, 73, left this world peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

Randy was born September 25, 1952, in Austin, Texas, the son of Charles and Irene Wright. He grew up in Austin, Texas where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep love for his family.

A loving husband to Donna Wright, she was his soulmate for 60 years. The love they shared for one another is what fairy tales are made of. Together, they raised two children: Jason and Angela. He was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance, love, and a hearty laugh. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to those around him.

Randy had many passions in his life, including showing his award-winning Corvette, cycling, rock hunting, martial arts, hunting, and cooking, which he enjoyed with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was known for his problem solving, knowing how to do everything, and his sense of humor could light up a room.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna, his children Jason Wright and his girlfriend Dawn, Angela Crane and her husband Chris, his grandchildren: Steven Billingsley and his wife Angie, Taylor Billingsley and his wife Knoelle, Elizabeth Saucedo and her husband Nico, Skylar Wight, Jonathan Crane, and his great granddaughters Estella Saucedo and Grace Billingsley. He is also Survived by his sister Beth Buchanan and her husband Gary, as well as a niece, many nephews, and his amazing friends who will miss him dearly.

A gathering to honor Randy's beautiful life will be held on November 29, 2025, at 3:00 pm at 2431 South Spring Gulch Road, Idaho Springs, Colorado. API friends are welcome to attend to celebrate Randy's amazing memory.
