Todd P. Enyeart 29 April 1969 - 11 September 2024
Todd Phillip Enyeart, son of Sylvia A. and Orlo C. Enyeart, was born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri on April 29th, 1969. He grew up on a farm in Osborn, Missouri, with his four siblings, including his twin brother. Todd always had his sights set on Colorado and moved to Denver when he was twenty years old. After his dad passed away, he moved back to Missouri to help his mom. He met his match in Kansas City. Todd is survived by his husband, Raymond William Hain. Todd and Ray have created a community and a home everywhere they’ve lived together. Eight years ago, they moved from Kansas City to their dream mountain home in Bailey, Colorado, and quickly made their mountain a haven for anyone lucky enough to spend time there.
Todd could spot a diamond in the rough. He had an eye for quality and could cut through nonsense better than anyone. He was the king of Craigslist, discovering the best deals and coolest antiques. He was game for any adventure that led to road trips full of snacks and backroads. He knew what he liked, and sharing what he loved with others made him happy. Todd managed a team at the Jefferson County Assessor’s office. He led by example as he was hardworking and fair and never missed an opportunity for humor, or sweets. He loved tinkering in the barn, working outside on his home with Ray, spoiling his dogs, and watching sports. He was always scheming to rescue another Boxer or purchase another bench for their land. Todd and Ray spent most evenings sitting on their benches, holding hands, watching the sun go down together. If Todd was anything, he was present, always, for himself, for Ray, for everyone in his orbit. When you had him in your corner, you knew you had someone willing to go to battle for you.
Todd is also survived by his mother, Sylvia Enyeart, his twin, Aron Enyeart, his brothers, Jace Enyeart and Orlo “Junior” Enyeart (Karin), his sisters Paula Carter, Kathleen Hake (Phil), Julia Perniciaro (Joe), Bridget Hogan (Chris), Kelly Becker (Brad), and Meg Bradbury (Gene). He leaves behind over fifty nieces and nephews, their spouses, and dozens of great nieces and nephews who will forever have a soft spot for the Broncos and a belief in Bigfoot because of their Uncle Todd, who, as one of his four-year-old great nieces was convinced, “knew everything.”
Rest easy, Uncle Todd. You were a good man.
